Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE) is a new entity in the mobile industry value chain. The term describes a company that is focused on recruiting MVNOs that are able to access mobility market segments complementary to the host network's retail brand.
An MVNE takes a proactive approach to recruitment actively seeking out brands and showing them the benefits of selling mobility services to their existing customer base.
An MVNE provides a mix of consultancy and outsourcing services as well as enabling an attached MVNO to acquire wholesale network access at a competitive price.
